Besides buying the system, what else do I need to get it installed? Should I also buy bags of salt? If so, if there a recommended one? Is there anything else that is needed for the installation?

Is this outdoor rated
We do not recommend installing our water softener outdoors. The control valve is not designed to be weatherproof, and prolonged exposure to rain, direct sunlight, freezing temperatures, or extreme heat can damage the electronic components and shorten the system's lifespan. If an outdoor installation is your only option, we recommend placing the system inside a weatherproof enclosure or shed to protect it from the elements while still allowing access for maintenance and adding salt.
I purchased 32000 grain system and a water filter was included, but the carbon filter cylinder shown in the filter installation instructions was not. Is the filter useful without the large cylinder?

Many high-end softeners have a salt grid (brine grid) in the brine tank, to lessen the chance of salt bridging. Does this unit have one? If not, can one be purchased for it?
Our brine tank comes standard with a grid plate to help reduce the likelihood of salt bridging. It also features a brine well with a mesh bottom that helps prevent larger debris from entering the brine line and reaching the control valve, providing added protection for the system.
How often do you need to replace iron filter resin.
With proper maintenance and regular regeneration, the resin should last 10 years or more under normal operating conditions.
Is a 32000 grain Aquasure softener sufficient for a 2 bedroom condo?
