I think it’s suitable for outdoor only because it’s we don’t want our house to be humid. I don’t think it’s convenient and practical for small house. It’s only for larger houses with patio or front porch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed With the Arctic air outdoor pro. this fan is definitely needed in the hot Texas weather. it’s very simple to use a bit noisy but OK if you’re using it outside. The wheels feel very durable and the set up process was a breeze! It has definitely made the hot summer days more tolerable when we are doing outdoor activities.

During the brutal heat it made it bearable to be outside especially under the shade of our partially enclosed patio. The unit is very quiet and yet it cools the surrounding area down by a noticeable amount. It was very easy to set up a garden hose eliminating the need to manually refill it.

I live in the south and our summer’s are disgustingly extremely humid and almost unbearable. We have used this on our patio, in the garage while straightening up and we plan to use inside just for air flow and circulation. It’s durable, not very loud and is also energy efficient. It’s an absolute must have for summers!!

Haven't left it outside since it's electronic and not sure if it's weather proof. It's not too noisy if you're having people around. One thing I wish it has is a solar panel so it's truly portable. I don't use it often because my outlet is far from where I want to place the unit, and the cord is about 9 feet long.

It probably takes 5 minutes to set up and that includes filling the water tank (which is 4 of those 5 minutes). Note that the instructions state that it is strongly encouraged that you use this outdoors as opposed to indoors. I’ve only tried it outdoors. The unit looks nice and is very portable because it has wheels and an adjustable handle like those you would find on a rolling suitcase. The fan has three levels of intensity and there’s just one cooling option but you can’t adjust the cooling temperature. The fan does provide nice movement of air when you’re outside. It also provides a pleasant cooling effect, but it’s not very strong. This unit is something that I would position next to a grandparent or elderly person at an outdoor party to make them feel slightly more comfortable in the heat. It’s not going to make your whole outdoor patio cool. It will make the person closest to it endure the heat better and as long as you have realistic expectations then it gets the job done.

It doesn’t get ice cold, but it does make you more comfortable that’s for sure. It’s not super loud, it can hook up to a hose, or you can fill it up with water and use it without a hose. It oscillates, as well as the front panel can be adjusted up or down. And all you really need is an outlet. It even has a handle for rolling so you don’t have to carry it. I’m excited to use this for my son’s birthday party at the park this weekend!
