Good Question! It is not in the Web page anywhere. Personally I would not buy it. It has several issues which does not work that well , an is often getting confused to think it will work everywhere. The Higher your local humidity the less effective it will be. Also it works like Swamp coolers do, so it does not get cold, but cooler than normal air is. Air conditioners get a whole lot colder, an run till a thermostat tells it to stop.
Just bring it back to the store.
I don't see it so marked on the body of the fan and I can't lay my hands on the accompanying literature at this moment. Check the company out online for detailed info.
Just for 20 min and we have to put the filter at freezer again:(
It is intended to be plugged in to a wall outlet. You will need to have an inverter to provide the AC power to run this unit. I would not recommend it though since by nature it expels water which some of the contents in a car are not tolerant with getting wet in such a closed space!
We have air conditioning, but my husband likes having direct air on him when he sleeps (I do not) so this works well for that. Actually, it puts out quite a bit of cool air considering it's size.
It has a regular plug.
