We have had this unit as the sole shower for 4 people for 2 months now and have not a single complaint. If your water is REALLY cold just slow the flow some until it hits for you. It will still be a good flow. I am not certain why it has 2 settings as it really needs to be running full tilt.
We are feeding the unit using an outdoor type Y with the little shut off valves using a washer supply hose adapted with a 3/8 flare to 1/2 thread on the business end using the included adapters/extenders and A LOT of teflon tape where the plastic meets brass. Note: You should use a 3/8 flare, but if you cannot find one then some dish soap and a lot of determination will make 1/2 flare work like in the image.
One installation note if you surface wire to this using 10 GA solid wire bring strong hands to the party as the route into the wiring block is tight and bendy. We were able to mount the unit around a corner from the shower head so it is not electric in the shower itself.

It seems like it could be a good shower but I was disappointed by the lack of information I could easily find about it online so I had assume it would be ready to plug into my 110 outdoor outlet, only to discover installation would require the expense of an electrician and the installation of a dedicated 220 breaker. Also, while the design was fairly nice, my unit came with a crack in it. Went with a propane shower instead.

It does not have a flow switch. It will stay on whether there is a water flow or not. It said it was for outside use, but it is not rain tight and must be mounted indoors. I bought it for a dog washing station and mount it outside but I couldn't. You must regulate the water flow to get the desired water temperature. My water comes from a well, a constant 65 degrees F. and I must cut back flow to get the water warm enough. I live in Louisiana.
