Q:Wil this product clean soot from RV ceiling without damaging it? (Vinyl celing surface, I think)

Answer This Question

A:  Yes, as long as it is used correctly. You swipe firmly in one direction and do not scrub. It may take several swipes. Always use dry.

Q:Will this remove soot from a cinder block wall?

    Answer This Question

A:  Russ, I successfully used these sponges on painted ceilings and a fireplace mantel. I was very happy with the results, the sponges definitely work. Cinder block has a lot of books and crannies so I don't know what the outcome work be. I'd suggest trying them and hope for the best. It will definitely be an improvement over doing nothing.

    by|Jul 9, 2021

A:  Well, up to a point, the sponge will remove soot from the surface of a cinder or concrete block wall but it won't remove soot from within the crevices. You might get some of the soot out of the crevices, but not it they are deep.

Q:what kind of store can I go and buy them without ordering them?

    Answer This Question

A:  Depending on where you live, there are janitorial/ restoration supply stores such as Jon Don or Aramsco. So many companies are going to the online ordering. For the most part, they usually go out pretty quick like the same business day as long as it is early enough in the day. Hope this helps a little :)

There was a fire in our neighborhood and we got soot on our ceilings and walls. I tried these sponges and was pretty amazed. They work really good. My only problem is that you can wash them and reuse them. Nevertheless, they do work.

      Junk
I can’t even imagine what these would be good for,but they definitely are not good for cleaning soot. The ‘Magic Sponge Erasers are much more effective and a fraction of the cost

        Not good for cleaning soot
These sponges didn’t have much of an effect at all for cleaning soot from painted walls.Really just a waste of $33.The ‘magic sponges’ worked so much better and were far more economical

These sponges worked great! We had black soot on kitchen walls from small stove fire and these sponges got the dry soot right off the walls.

          Awesome product!
I got these for my son and his wife who bought a smoker's house, plus she burned candles constantly. The walls and ceilings were badly smoke stained. We were shocked at how well these sponges worked! One pass and you can literally see a cleaner wall or ceiling. There is a clear delineation from clean to dirty when you stop. I highly recommend these.
