What’s the difference between level 1 charging and level 2 charging? I have a Tesla so will level 2 charge it faster?
Asked by Hank September 18, 2020Level 2 Charging is up to 3 times faster than Level 1 charging with this AxFAST 16A charger. Charging at level 1 is done at 12AMP/120V on a standard grounded outlet while charging at level 2 is done at 16AMP/240V with the included 240V adapters. Using 240 volt Level 2 charging reduces the amount of time needed for charging your Tesla.

Asked by jewright April 2, 2020The AxFAST 16Amp Level 2 Portable Electric Vehicle Charger will charge a Tesla but will require a J1772 adapter, available from Tesla since Tesla vehicles use a proprietary charging connection. The Mercedes 250B appears to have a 16AMP charging capability but it is recommended that you check the owner's manual for it's exact charging specifications.

Asked by steve September 28, 2020This charger is compatible with the Hybrid BMW 5 series. The charger dimensions are 11 1/2 x 4.75 x 2.75 and uses a 240V NEMA 6-20 connection for Level 2 charging.
