Is this lamp made in China?
Yes
Is this supposed to have something to hold the shade so the shade doesn’t sit on the light bulb? No washers/discs were included. We bought this today (2/8/25) & it was brand new, not a used package. Thank you!
Take all bulbs out of the socket, FIRST STEP, UNSCREW the socket rings from the sockets. Those are the parts-- the RINGS WITH THE RIDGES, remove/unscrew the socket rings from the sockets,,then place the shades on the socket/lamp and then re screw in the socket rings to secure the shades and then the bulb goes in last.
Why doesn’t this lamp come with instructions and is there something other the bulb that holds the shade on. The bulb socket is threaded but no nut to hold the shade canme with ours

Can you adjust the cord that holds the lights to a shorter lenght?
I don't think so. The adjustment of the lamp shade height is determined by the position of the curved arms of the lamp, during assembly. They are different lengths, so you have some choices of how you want the shades to hang.
No there is no adustable feature on that part of the lamp.
