Garbage
Do NOT buy this garbage. The design of these gates, are ment to sit inside of the 4x4 fence post. So, your fence pickets will NOT line up, with the fence it self. No where does it tell you that. The display showed the gate, lined upwith the fence it self. Then when I called to complain, they said, it wasn't designed to be flush with the fence. What idiot, wanted there gates to be on the inside of the fence post, and not lined up with the rest of the fence????

Gate sags and the hinge could not support the weight at 60" wide.
Gate still sags despite tensioning the cable to the max. The hinge could not support the weight on a 60" wide opening.

We purchased the larger gate kit to replace/strengthen a 5-ft gate that was in disrepair. While the frame itself is probably 8.5/10 rating, the hardware is very substandard. We practically threw away 80% of their hardware including the gate latch and opted for something that was more robust. The latch was cheaply made, the screws were not long or wide enough (flimsy), and we couldn't use the mechanism for the 4x4 post. We had to purchase heavy duty "J-hooks" to connect to a 4" galvanized post instead. We strongly recommend the company offer a gate kit that mounts to a galvanized round pipe using J-hooks versus a 4x4 wooden post. Lastly, this company should take a serious look at the gate hardware. The associated engineered hardware just doesn't meet the QC standards. Conclusion: If you purchase this product, be prepared to only use the frame itself and purchased heavier duty hardware if you want your gate to last.

I took my time and attached the gate frame to a 96 inch (8 feet) fence panel. That is the max length for this gate kit. We’ll see if it sags over time and if the supporting cable can be used to keep it stable. Even so, I plan to add something to support It, like a small wheel on the bottom corner opposite the hinges. After two weeks, it seems that everything is gonna be alright :)

Adjust a gate works
Adjust a gate worked really well I bought 3 for my project. I built them all in my grauge then hung them. It worked really well I added more support to my 4x4 to keep them stright cause the doubal gate are 80 inches each door so they get heavy fast but I would recommend it and use it again.

Great easy gate kit
Easy to put together and adjustable. Very solid as i paired the kit with round steel metal posts and sunk them in tbe ground 2 feet. Very well made and sturdy gate kit.

Great looking and easy to install
The gate kits were very easy to install. The directions were clear enough to figure out with little issue. I’m glad my kits came in black because a lot of other reviewed photos look gray or tan. The supplied screws are garbage so plan to supply your own weatherproof wood screws. But overall great value for a quick, good looking DIY gate

The gate arrived very well packaged. Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were in the kit. I disassembled a 6’ X 8’ fence panel and put it back together using the gate kit. Added a support wheel as an 8ft gate is a bit stretched for just cable support. The cable will support it just I wanted a little assurance. The only sting I would change is the cable is rubber coated and that will slip through the thimble clamps punching it. Take the rubber coating off. As long as you grease the cable once a year for corrosion protection it’ll hold up fine.
