Keeping the house pulled together

Versatile and Easy to Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Adjust-A-Gate Front Gate Series has been a capable and easy-to-install addition to our soon-to-be-finished honeybee yard. Overall, the instructions were relatively easy to follow. Make sure to read them before you begin, as there's prep work (setting 4x4 posts, etc) to complete before assembling the gate. Three things are critical (and the instructions mention this) but make sure that your 4x4 posts are not bowed, are set level, and are set apart wide enough to compensate for the mounts and lock. All of the hardware that is needed to complete the gate is included. I did not use the included gate latch since I needed to hide the entry method to keep children out of the bee yard and instead used a hidden latch on the back of the post. I opted to use 2" deck screws of my own to mount the 4' boards to the front. Go slowly, check your level, and measure constantly and the gate should assemble quickly. I was impressed by the optionality of the size that the gate allows (up to about 4.5 ft wide). Overall, this is an excellent solution when you need to customize a gate to your unique fence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Adjust-A-Gate Steel Frame Gate Building Kit is just what I need for my backyard. I had a fence put up all around for my dogs but needed the gate to close it in. It's super easy to install and the instructions are easy to read. The gate kit is durable and kinda stylish. A great high quality product. It's secure and safe and I highly recommend this product.

A weekend project
I bought this kit to replace my old gate as it was very old and sagging very badly. I purchased two kits and build a swing gate for my driveway. I took me about a day for each side. I'm overall satisfied with the quality of the product, it looks good and has adjustable hinges, I used 6 inch pickets, which are rather durable. The last picket is hard to attach, since the metal portion of the kit is on the way, but I guess you can make it work.

rusted less than a year later
Purchase to install a double gate on the side of our house over the summer 2021. It's now February and I'm noticing screws missing that rusted and the heads popped off. I should have paid attention to other folks' reviews about the hardware quality

I really didn't expect much when I purchased this gate kit. It's fairly simple in design, and not especially expensive. And to be honest, it isn't perfect. The latch mechanism is small and hard to use with one hand, and I've seen better welds even on cheap imported stuff. So why the five star rating? Simple - This item is much better than expected. First of all...it arrived a day early! Incredible shipping during a pandemic! The steel is heavy gauge and the paint job is fantastic. The instruction guide is super easy to use, and all the hardware is clearly labeled, and very durable. It's easily adjusted, strong and really everything you'd want in a gate kit. Not only will I recommend this to everyone I know, I'm also designing two more gates for our back and side gardens. And of course, I'll be using Adjust-A-Gate hardware. I had this completely built in just a few hours and I'm ancient and some might say... leisurely inclined. If you want an easy solution to building a strong, beautiful gate - get yourself an Adjust-A-Gate and leave the heavy lifting to them. Cheers!

Not hard to assemble/install and works as advertised. I needed to have the gate open out - which it will do but it's really made to open inward - which is probably the prevailing install anyway.
