Advaning's PN series adds a classic style to a modern concept. Fixed awnings with transparent polycarbonate materials and nylon/fiberglass brackets enhance the exterior aesthetics of homes and businesses. In addition to quality UV protection, Advaning's PN Series diverts rain and snow away from your windows and doors using the best products on the market today. The PN series' solid polycarbonate canopy panel is made from 100% Bayer virgin raw material. Many brands use lesser grade recycled materials that often have impurities mixed in. Beware of polycarbonate panels that are hollow and not solid. Cutting corners short-changes you with products that do not stand up to the elements for long. Hollow spaces are gathering points for mold, dust and condensation. Advaning takes pride in its product lines, ensuring that customers get solid panels of pure material from the source to protect the windows and doorways of each installation. The panels are clear, safe, clean and attach to their frames using an EPDM grade rubber seal that omits moisture penetration.

Thank you for reaching out to us! I understand that you would like to modify the PN Series by trimming 5 inches from the end of the polycarbonate sheet. Please note that when making any modifications to our polycarbonate awnings, it is essential to use the appropriate blade designed for polycarbonate to prevent the sheet from shattering. Additionally, please be aware that any modifications to our awnings will void the product warranty. If you would like more information about our door awnings or our limited product warranty, please do not hesitate to contact us. Best, Erika R. Advaning Awnings
Hello and thank you for your interest and inquiry. The PN SERIES can be mounted to most exterior surfaces with the provided Stainless Steel hardware, in some cases the hardware may be swapped out for the specific installation site. In cases where siding is involved, we recommend cutting through the siding to comment directly to the studs or header or using shims to level the surface. I hope this information helps, please contact us directly via our website for a faster response, we are available via Chat, Phone, and Email - thanks. Best Chris L. ADVANING

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. I'll be happy to answer your question. The PN Series Solid Polycarbonate Sheet Door Fixed Awning comes in 47' in x 31.5' inch and 55' x 31.5 inch. With the dimensions that you provided of 45' x 31', both sized would work well for you, depending on the look and coverage that you are wanting to achieve. The awning will come with a manual that provides step by step installation that will assist you with the correct installation. Advaning recommends a minimum of 10-inch wall clearance as well as a 2-inch clearance from eaves or overhangs to best install either the PA or PN series polycarbonate awnings. The polycarbonate awning should ALWAYS be installed onto solid structure supports, brick or header. You will need the following: 1. Stud Finder 2. Pencil/Marker 3. Wrench 4. Level 5. Scissors 6. Mallet 7. Small Wood Block 8. Outdoor Rated Silicone Sealant 9. Ladders 10. Drill and Drill Bits *(Wood Install: 15/64 inch drill bit / Solid Masonry: 3/8 inch drill bit). A typical installation will require 2+ persons to complete. Specialty hardware for siding, cinder blocks, or solid concrete/brick can be found at a local hardware specialty store – Advaning always recommends consulting with a professional installer, contractor or handyman to best determine any additional requirements based on your specific installation site.
