1.37 Gal. Cool Mist Digital Humidifier for Large Rooms Up to 400 sq. ft

This works well for the money and I love that it shuts itself on and off. It is very quiet. We use distilled water otherwise it does put a dust in the air. The buttons can be read with light and looking directly at the machine. It has helped my sinus' greatly. I have one upstairs in my bedroom and one in the living room which is open to the rest of the downstairs which is about 1,000 sf and it is plenty. We supplement with water in the crock pot on low in the kitchen.

It fits perfectly in any corner of the house. It doesn't create much of a sound, but if you're a light sleeper I recommend keeping it outside of the bedroom. Seems like it is helping my pets and my family out a lot. Definitely recommend buying one for the price!

It's a great humidifier, last all nite and puts out a good amount of mist

A big step up from the old fan driven humidifiers. This thing makes no noise at all when running and puts out a nice stream of moist air that can be directed where you want it with the adjustable nozzle. The tank fills easily and doesn't make a mess. You just turn it upside down and remove the fill lid and fill. You can adjust the output with the digital controls or you can control the humidity with the humidistat. Just set it to the desired humidity you want and it will cut on and off to control the humidity. This is perfect for a bedroom on those dry winter nights. As for the purple color my granddaughter gives it two thumbs up.

During the winter, the dry air can get very uncomfortable, so every year I bring out my humidifiers for a few months and run them in the bedroom at night. I have had 3 humidifiers over the last several years, but they all seemed so basic, with only a single knob on them, leaving me to guess how to set them over night. It seemed frustrating, but all of the humidifiers I saw were the same, so I didn't know any better. Now that I've seen this Air Innovations digital model and enjoyed the features and thoughtfulness of the design, I will never be able to tolerate those generic humidifiers. There is just no comparison. The digital control panel is fantastic. The most valuable feature for me is the LED display that constantly shows the relative humidity. For the last several years, I have had to keep a separate thermometer / humidity meter in my bedroom, just so I could check the humidity and see whether I needed to turn on the humidifier, and how high I needed to set it. In addition to detecting and displaying the humidity, you can set the desired humidity. When it reaches the desired level, the unit temporarily turns off until the humidity drops again. What a fantastic amazing feature. It seems so obvious, but not a single humidifier I have seen at WalMart or Target has this feature. So with this model, you just set your desired humidity, and you don't have to guess how to adjust a knob. You can set the mist to four different levels independent of the desired humidity, which is great. The control panel also lets you set a Delayed Start and Auto Off. I may try using the Delayed Start so that the unit starts in an hour, allowing me to go to sleep before it turns on. And then I'll probably also use the Auto Off feature to have it shut off automatically in the morning. Given all of the options, one feature that this particular model has, that the HUMID10 model does not have, is a Preset button. So with this model, you can save different presets. If you like to use all of the different settings, and have different options you want to use at different times, the Preset feature is handy. The Air Innovations humidifiers come with a ceramic filter, with small ceramic beads, for the water tank. The manual doesn't say what it filters out of the water, but I assume it helps clean something out of the water before being processed. I would strongly recommend using only Distilled water in humidifiers. The minerals in tap water will quickly build up in the humidifier and make a mess that is a pain to clean, and you may see a white haze in the air and white dust on your furniture as a result of the vaporized minerals. It is not worth the hassle to use tap water. Just take the time to pick up several gallons of Distilled water from the grocery store and you will save yourself a lot of time and frustration. After using tap water for a few years and effectively ruining a humidifier, I now only use Distilled water and just keep a few gallons in my bedroom closet for convenience. One final nice feature that I appreciated is that the water tank has a handle at the top and the bottom. This may seem trivial, but when removing the tank and taking it to the counter or sink to drain it or fill it back up, it's very nice to have a handle on both top and bottom--something my other humidifiers didn't have. I selected this particular model because it came in purple, and will be using it in my daughters' room. They love the color and think it is really neat looking. Overall, this is a great product with more features than I've ever seen in any other humidifier. The digital control panel alone makes this product far better than any other humidifier I've seen in stores.

I like this humidifier. It’s small but powerful enough for our living room. And it’s quiet so we don’t have to turn up the volume on the TV in order to hear it. And it also doesn’t leave any wetness on your end table or floor.

Quality at competitive price…

This humidifier does not work! It spews out moist air about 4/5” in the air dumping it all about 6 - 8” around the unit - not enough power to get up in the air and humidify even a small 10 x 12 room

It is so quiet! We use it in our bedroom.
