Product Details
Wind Turbines are a type of attic exhaust vent that make up half of a balanced attic ventilation system for each roof. Intake vents make up the other half of the system. Together they help remove any built-up heat and moisture inside the attic for year-round ventilation. Use the Home Depot calculator to determine how many individual Wind Turbnes are needed per roof.

Installing a turbine on your existing roof is not as daunting task as it may seem. The hardest part is cutting the hole in the roof. After that, it is fairly straight forward.
I choose the black repainted turbine so I could paint it to match our existing shingle colors. Also, the black color holes imperfections from painting on the inside that cannot be seen once installed.
After cutting the hole, I used the guide to preset the angle corresponding to the roof pitch on the base. I then set the base on the roof and leveled the assembly with a level. After that, I secured the base using the set screw.
As you cans, it looks great once installed.

This 12 in. Black Aluminum Wind Turbine is easy to install and it cools fast. I used it to replace an old one on my garage which does not turn anymore. I figure summer is coming and now is the best time to put this new one in before everything gets fried. The installation is not difficult at all. I also used the patching asphalt near the trim to ensure there is no leak. This wind turbine is very quiet and circulates air fast. This is a good product.

Just got this out of the box and ready to install with the other one just like it. This will turn with the slightest of breezes and take the heat out of your attic or garage ceiling. Made of high quality aluminum with a ball bearing pivot point. A very nice looking wind turbine. This is a very easy turbine to clean also as well as easy to install for those who can cut a hole in your roof. All directions are included for the install. Recommend this item for those wanting to reduce your utility costs by removing heat from attics or garage ceilings in the summer heat.

I installed this wind turbine on the roof of a small 8x14 shed two months ago. It is performing well and the interior temp has decreased at least 10 degrees (F), even when the air is dead still and the turbine isn't moving. It spins freely with the slightest breeze. Installation was pretty simple and no leaks during a recent summer downpour. Adjusting the angle was simple with the cardboard gauge and the adjustment scales on the unit. Finish and color is good.
