ShingleVent II ridge vent installs on the peak of the roof allowing exhaust ventilation all along the roofline end-to-end. ShingleVent II ridge vent has a low profile, shingle-over design that blends in with the roof. Once installed ShingleVent II provides exceptional attic ventilation and is almost invisible from the ground.

Warped Immediately
Roofers by Laurio's Contracting installed these vents on part of my house. They warped immediately and got worse over time. They also catch debris from nearby trees because of the way they are constructed. Now I'm stuck wit a warped debris trap alog the length of my house, and the contractor doesn't want to fix it.

These are great. The price is better than some. They come in different widths. I prefer the 12 inch wide over the 14 inch wide. They are excellent at removing hot air from the attic. When I re shingled my roof I removed the turbines and installed these as a ridge vent across the entire top ridge.

Be prepared to cut shingle caps to width so as...
Be prepared to cut shingle caps to width so as to match the width of the product when installing your shingle caps (usually cut from 3 tab shingles that match the color of your field shingles, 11 1/2" wide worked in my case while getting 3 caps out of one 3 tab shingle and tapering in an 1" so they lay down flatter per the instructions on the Corning shingle wrapper plus shows nail placement).Have a glue gun at hand in case you snag and pull the filter fabric out of place. I had no problems installing and nailing shingle caps on top of the product. Follow the instructions. I used their original product about 20 years ago on this same roof and there were never any leaks or blow-offs.Remember you need eave venting (intake) to match the outflow of the ridge vent slotting. I have continuous running venting (small holes in a galvanized band about 1 1/2" wide installed when re-stuccoed) out of sight just behind the fascia board under the overhanging eave and had no problems with it. There are newer style roof surface mounted venting but I have no experience with it.This low profile passive roof ridge vent product is noticeable along the ridge lines but not unsightly,
