This Doug Fir was very good quality wood - at least the quantity 2 that I got. It was perfect for my project involving some older Douglas Fir already in my home. The packaging for delivery worked well, the wood arrived without scrapes or splinters - nice and smooth and required only minimal sanding.

The board that I received was very good - straight and good tight grain with no cracks or large knotholes. Just wish it was in stock and didn't have to order it.

The first order I placed 2 of the 3 boards were good, the third was almost completely cracked in half. I contacted Home Depot and they sent me another board. This time there was a big area in the middle of the board that was leaking sap, unusable. These boards aren’t cheap, should be almost perfect
