No it did not meet my expectations, unable to install the shelf it didn’t have the tool & the wrong instructions in the packaging. I am returning it. Love the shelf it self!

For initial appearance and ease of installation, I would give a five-star rating. I gave four stars because it was just installed today and I have not used it yet. It is every bit as attractive as the pictures.

I ordered 2 shelves in this dimension and one 16 x12x5. This product is made to order so you will have to wait at least a month for pick-up in your store which is not clearly explained on the website until your order is placed. The design fit the look I was going for in both bathrooms. The rails were a big selling feature as I don't like open shelves because items can fall off. The craftsmanship is excellent. However, do not use the anchors that are included with the shelves. I had the shelves professionally installed using "beefier" anchors because these shelves are heavy and if not properly anchored, will fall off the wall. I would have given this product 5 stars if not for the vendor's inconsistent packaging which can lead to breakage in shipping. March 26, 2017 - I placed my online order for all three shelves. This is when I find out it will take a month to receive the product. April 15, 2017 - The 16x12x5 arrived intact while both 22x12x5 units arrived with all of the glass broken. I re-order the shelves. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, I contact customer service via phone to see if my order can be expedited. I never really got a satisfactory answer and the CSR couldn't reach the vendor, Allied Brass. I even escalated my complaint to the corporate resolution center and after a several calls to them, I was finally told each order is custom made and the manufacturer doesn't change the priority for the return of damaged merchandise. May 15, 2017 - Order arrives. I open the boxes in the store, one shelf is intact and the other one has broken glass. At this point, I notice that the placement of the shelves in the boxes is different. The shelf that was broken had the mounting bracket at the other most edge of the box, so when it was hit the shelf breaks. The shelf that was intact had no part of the product touching the outer box. I order another shelf. June 13, 2017 - I finally get the last shelf intact.
