A very good and useful Caulk Tool
I had a weekend project to re-caulk my shower. Shopping the Home Depot isles was fun, and I bumped into this great tool. The Husky 3-in-1 Caulk Tool that consists of a fixed-blade caulk remover and scraper with an adjustable radius. It works with acrylic, latex and silicone and is handy for window, bath and shower projects. The black triangular rubber part helped the best in this tool. It helped the neat installation of caulk at the 90 degree angle.

Maybe for soft caulk Not so good for old hard caulk
I spotted this tool at a local Home Depot when I was picking up tubes of caulk to re-caulk my exterior windows. Was a little hesitant about the quality but thought I'd give it a shot. I first tried it out on some latex caulk around a window on the interior side just to see how well it worked. It seemed to do ok and I think it would do well with other soft caulks like silicone in the bathroom. The latex caulk around the exterior of the window was much harder and it didn't do very well there. It broke before I even removed 2 feet of caulk. Had the weather been warmer or had I used a heat gun it might have gone better but I was able to remove the caulk with a utility knife and a putty knife without a problem. The plastic that holds the metal blade to the tool is very thin and even when using it on softer caulk I don't see it holding up for too long. Should hold up pretty well for doing a tub suround though unless the caulk is very old.

          Not worth it.
It was no better than using a screwdriver to dig out caulk. It was also easy to cut yourself.

          Very easy no mess
I learned a few tricks watching a pro. He didnt use this tool, but i learned, clean, and mask iff from him anf this made the messiest part easy. It took a few hours of cleaning and masking. Then caulk took less than a minute, using this tool took seconds for the finish. The project was a bathtub and the results were awesome.
