Awesome for any type outdoor pond!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gotten this for an outdoor pond project - started with an above ground koi pond it worked great but in that this particular pump could do so much More I’m thinking I will redo my project in ground with a water fall- this pump could easily handle the larger project

Heavy duty pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I was pretty impressed with the durability of this pump. It is quiet but yet still heavy duty and powerful. The Hurricane pump is a great size, as well. I anticipate this lasting a really long time. I do not have anything negative to report. The pump is holding up very well and doing an outstanding job.

Pushes water good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow is all I got to say, this thing pumps good with no issues at all. We built a tiny waterfall pond area in the backyard, at first it was going to be just a small tiny pond for our ducks but we decided to add a waterfall and looked into different pumps and decided to give this one a try, it works awesome and pushes the water great for our waterfall, keeps it circulating, I love that it's energy saving as well. we absolutely love this.

Great pump for submerged use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this pump as an emergency backup for my pool and spa filter pump. Given the supply chain conditions around pool equipment, if a filter pump goes out I am looking at 4-6 weeks lead time on a new one. That long with no circulation and I'll end up needing to drain and acid wash the plaster before refilling, at a significan cost. This pump works well when thrown in the shallow end and a hose running to the deep end to simply circulate water in case of pump outage. It provides me much peace of mind that I can get the same circulation by running this pump for 24 hours as I can my filter pump for about 10-12.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got this pump. Unfortunately it is December and we will not be able to use it until Spring. We have a pond less waterfall, the pump sits in a sump. The 1500 GPH should make the waterfall flow faster.

POWERFUL!!!

This 1500 GPH pump is so powerful it's been a challenge through the last year keeping our pond flowing with the quantity of water it needs. When we submerged the hurricane pump under the water it flowers with perfection. This pump is durable and with the 33ft power cord we found out lifetime pump.
