Doesn’t come with “ sleeve”
This item has a different plug, please see what it looks like before purchasing a 20 amp plug, it also doesn’t come with a sleeve ! The insides are exposed once you open the box
I don’t understand why they did that, you will have the worst time looking for one, it’s not something you can just go pick up
This was a very poor design and worst mistake

Control board
Purchased unit last spring, worked great until fall, Control Board failed and have been waiting since September for warranty replacement to arrive. Communication with Customer Service has been good but have no heat, so until issue is rectified, I would not recommend to anyone else. Very disappointed

China control board total garbage. No longer made in USA. Failure rate of board high.
Amana no longer a American Co. Control board made in China. Total failure of control board in Two months. Do Not Purchase this unit. It Will Fail. You will wait weeks for replacement control board. No heat in the dead of winter for a disabled senior Not Acceptable. A Perfect Example of Chinese manufacturing Garbage.

This unit slipped right into the previous unit's whole in the wall, the units measurement were spot on. Once the sleeve was set in place with the proper angle for drainage the unit slid right in and looks great. My daughter likes her room cold and this unit does just that all very quietly.

I had two of Amana wall heaters / air conditioners installed in a house we have.They are beautiful and work wonders when it comes to ductless systems.I also purchased baseboard heaters with remotes for additional rooms and they are just as great.
