Q:Will this rake - rake & pick up black walnuts from my lawn?

Answer This Question

A:  It works great for sweet gum balls, pine needles, small clippings and leaves of course but might not work with walnuts. They are dense and heavy and might splay the jaws or break the plastic. Better off buying a walnut roller.

              Need another for front yard use
              I have had this green one for over 2 years now. I’m hoping I can find another, preferably in the yellow color for out front at the Home Depot store. Must start looking again. Saw them a year or so ago at Bed, Bath,& Beyond and Christmas Store.

                At first we didn't have the rake opened all the way. After we fixed that everything worked great. It is fantastic on pine needles. Just pull long strokes. We were done so much faster. Waiting for more leaves to fall.

                Decent rake.
                This rake is nice and helps with not having to bend over as much. Only complaint is pull back feature loosens often and must be tightened in order to close rake to pick up debry. It's still better than normal rake when pucking up leaves, twigs etc.
