Peggy J, I am very sorry but the concealed side toilets are only available in a 12" rough in. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
The hole gives you access to the bolts that fasten the toilet to the floor and pipe flange.
The rim height is 16.75 inches from the floor.
ResearchQueen, Yes, this model is manufactured in an elongated style. That model number will be 2989.101.020 for white. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
remod, Thanks for the question on the American Standard Cadet 3 toilet. You would not have to use a slow close seat, any standard elongated seat would work, but you cannot remove the slow close feature off of the seat itself. A different seat would have to be purchased. I bought three of these toilets over the course of two years, in two houses that I own. They have been totally problem free in all aspects. I have not experienced any of the glazing issues that you mention with the other water closets. I highly recommend these toilets. Also, they flush very well.
I wish I could answer this for you, but my son installed it for me and doesn't live here. So hopefully someone else will answer it for you.
Hi Tanya, The only difference is that the 2989.101.020 is a round front and 2988.101.020 is an elongated front. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
Home Depot carries an amazing selection of toilets, and possibly in the description is where it gets confusing. I noticed that some are labeled as one-piece and others as two-piece and what factors in there can be the overall design, which I believe allows the buyer to choose the style they prefer.
