Answersdavid, The length of the chain on the American Standard M962749-0070A can easily be adjusted. The ball at one end can be removed from its slot, and then the chain moved and a different spot can be inserted into the same slot. Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team.
Will this replace the chain assembly for the Champion 4 home toilet? The small piece which 'captures' the end of the chain and attaches to the small triangular piece attached to the top of the flap and I'd rather not replace the whole assembly.
