This is a gorgeous looking all-in-one shower / tub set. Comes with the valve, round cover, handle, shower head, shower head pipe and chrome ring, tub spout and some install hardware. For an all-in-one it’s a nice set – I got the chrome and it looks great. Not all pieces are metal, the handle is, but it is fine for most purposes and households. It is operational, looks great and backed by AS warranty. Waiting to be installed while why bathroom is being remodeled. But I saw it at the store and just had to have it. The store also carries other (AS) Chatfield faucets to match which I got for my vanity sink.

This review is for American Standard Chatfield Single-Handle 3-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet with 1.8 GPM in Brushed Nickel (Valve Included) (model # 7413508.295). I have come across quite a few shower faucets in my life, either to install them in my houses, or for friends and relatives. I think this shower faucet from American Standard offers good value the money. My installed my first one back in 2016. Easy installation, good water pressure, constant performance. If you are looking for an inexpensive tub and shower faucet, look no more. This unit comes all inclusive, even the valve assembly is included. The unit is not a heavy item, all the individual pieces seem light to me, but once it is installed, the unit functions perfectly. The finish is a brushed nickel, which will be somewhat more difficult to keep looking nice in the long run, but this would be a perfect unit for a guest bathroom, where it would not get used as much.

This is a very good shower and tub faucet combo set. The valve is also already included in the package, so all you have to do is follow the directions to install into the shower bath unit and it works, no extra parts to buy. The brushed nickel is stylish in design, and doesn't show finger prints, like chrome will. The shower head itself is similar to a rain shower, not a hard stream of water, more like a steady sprinkling. Our water pressure isn't the best, so it may be a little different strength in your shower, also there are different spray settings, some are focused to the middle sprayers. The bathtub faucet is a cool design, it's not like any other's i've seen, this is more of a tapered shape where the water comes out. Overall, good reasonable, well made all in one product!

Perfect for new installation. Comes with everything you need and even the guts for a new installation. The guts/ valves gets installed in a new or renovation job between the studs. You can use the hardware on a shower tub that already has the value built in. I love the brushed nickel as it doesn’t get finger prints in them easily. Always easy to clean. We absolutely love the style and design of this three-piece shower/tub hardware set. However, the material is a little thin and light weight. More than we are used to. The old hardware that is presently in our shower, is made much heavier and durable. It may just be the way they are making things nowadays, but it just seems that it’s a little thin as far as the material goes. I had our plumber take a look at the material as we are in the process of remodeling the bathroom and he will be doing the plumbing. He said it will be no problem to install. Love the shower head for sure.

Chrome Finished pieces are mostly plastic with the exception of the solid metal handle.
Shower Head offers 3 options conventional, massage and a combination of the two and was not to our liking...I shave in the shower and like a forceful spray so I may rinse my razor and my wife likes more of a gentle rain so the included showerhead suited our preferences poorly. Cost cutting shows with the materials...Good or Inexpensive - Pick one

This is a really nice shower and tub faucet it is great for the price. The brushed nickle finish is classic. I have not installed the faucet yet as I am remodeling my shower. It has great reviews and cant wait to instal it. The valve is included. It comes with a good size shower head. Instructions of course are included and seems pretty easy to assemble

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to update your shower for both looks and water-savings this American Standard Chatfield kit is a great option.
The quality of the finish is excellent, however, most of the visible parts are actually plastic, so this may not be as durable as metal. That said, all the finishes match perfectly, so visually it's not an issue. On the other hand, it's not going to rust, so not a bad trade-off. The ceramic no-drip valve is zero maintenance and should last very a long time.
Installation was pretty standard, so take your time especially if you're not a professional plumber.
Overall, excellent value with some to-be-determined level of quality concerning the plastic parts.
