Colony Pro Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.

The chrome on the Colony Pro looks great and is fairly resistant to fingerprints. The hose is long and pulls out and goes back in with ease. The sprayer has two water flow settings: a regular aerated stream and a sprayer mode. They are changed by pressing the rocker switch. There is also a pause button above. The wand can be positioned with the switch facing forward or towards the wall. The water flow is good and rated at 1.5 GPM. Very stylish and easy to use handle. It’s not super smooth but rather a little tight yet precise. This faucet can be installed on both a single hole and 3-hole sinks, HOWEVER the deck plate (escutcheon) for the 3-hole installation in NOT included. It is available as an optional accessory (part # M962806-YYY0A). In my opinion, at this price point the deck plate should be included as it is with cheaper models. Installation was quite simple and I did not even need the instructions. Everything is straight forward if you’ve installed a faucet before. Overall a very nice faucet and backed by A.S. “limited” lifetime (home usage) warranty. Limited to a 5-year warranty when used for industrial, commercial, and business purposes.

Thanks to its sleek lines and the polished chrome finish, this American Standard Colony Pro faucet is a breeze to clean and makes it perfect for frequent use. The 3 hole cover deck plate allows it to be used in remodel applications, unlike some of the competition that does not include this, so their faucets can be used only in single-hole countertops/sinks (usually new construction). The included flexible stainless steel supply lines are a better alternative to the more rigid PEX plastic lines that are sometimes found on other faucets which make those faucets difficult to install around under-sink obstructions like waste disposers and drain lines. A well-engineered faucet!

The Pull Down Colony Kitchen Faucet by American Standard is an excellent kitchen upgrade. The polished chrome look and styling is a great look for any kitchen. This is a quality faucet with ceramic valve and brass fittings. It comes with easy to install integrated supply lines. The change out took about 1 hr...remove the old and install the new. I like that this comes with a cover plate for older 3 hole sink setups, but this also works for new install 1 hole applications. It has an easy to use 2 spray (stream and spray), but also has a nice pause setting so you don't have to turn the water off at the faucet when moving pans around. Additionally, I like that it only uses 1.5 gallons per minute...and I didn't notice any reduction in spray pressure or power. This is a very nice addition to the kitchen. ...And it comes with a Limited Life Time warranty.

The Colony Pro single-handle pull down kitchen faucet offers an excellent value and looks and feels like a high-end (expensive) fixture. The chrome finish is consistent and of good quality. The handle and water flow is very linear and predictable. The pull-out sprayer pulls operates very smooth and offers a fine narrow and wide spray patterns. Easy installation with great instructions and fits single hole or 3 hole sinks. Overall, the Colony Pro kitchen faucet is a great value and looks great!

I cannot recommend this product. I have reviewed over 250 products, and installed over 500 products, and this ranks as a bottom 5 product in my experience. I am frankly confused by all the 5 star reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would. Let me tell you why. 1) This is not fully chrome. The actual working end sprayer is 100% plastic. I have pictures to prove it. Look at them. I am disappointed that American Standard calls it "chrome." Yes, the faucet and spout is brass that is chromed, but the sprayer is all 100% cheap plastic. 2) The flow rate is terrible and unusable. I could not get enough flow to wash a plate. Terrible. 3) There is no way to wash out debris from the supply line. I think much of my flow problem is from my supply line. However, unlike most faucets, there are no instructions provided to flush the system. There is no removable aerator which is how one usually removes flush debris. How do you flush the system? I eventually found a way to disconnect the sprayer hose from the supply, and found debris in the system. Was it from my supply or just in the faucet? I'll never know because this was not part of the instructions. 4) Which brings me to the instructions. What instructions? The "instructions" were a few sheets of paper that were poorly printed with incomplete instructions. Basically, there were no useful instructions. 5) Material quality. Terrible. Much of the faucet was some mystery material covered in some sort of thin chrome. The actual sprayer end was all plastic with chrome paint. No way this will hold up. I could go on, but frankly, I'm shocked beyond belief. I cannot believe that American Standard would support this product. I have a "Colony" laundry utility faucet I got a few months ago and it is a wonderful appliance, that is nothing like the junk quality of this one. I also have multiple toilets and other appliances by this company. I'm shocked, shocked, shocked by the terrible quality of the kitchen faucet. There is no way I would recommend this on any basis. The flow is poor. The materials are poor. The instructions are lacking. The price is expensive. Look elsewhere for a product that has actual metal in it and has an aerator you can flush and remove. My friend has a Moen which looks a lot like this, but is a so much better in quality. What happened here? I have no idea, but it looks like the cost cutters took control. The actual faucet is Made in Mexico, but that really doesn't matter. It was designed somewhere that cost control was the only thing that mattered. Not quality, not anything else. And it shows. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm disappointed and saddened by this experience with what used to be one of my favorite brands. By the way: I could not use the product and ended up re-installing my 8 year old Delta, which is fine and working great. I had hoped to clean out the debris and donate this to Habitat to Humanity. However, I still could not get it to clean after disassembly and decided to junk this product. Some of my photos prove how cheaply this is made. I've never been so profoundly disappointed by a favorite brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from We bought this to replace our kitchen sink faucet and after installing it was quite disappointed in the weak flow of water that came out,we have always had good pressure with our previous faucet but this one just doesn't cut it,if there was a way to remove the flow control device to restore the water flow would be an inprovement
