what water pressure is required for the A/S 221AB104.020 to flush properly in a dental office restroom?

Asked by gquast September 5, 2018
1
Answer

You have to have enough pressure to activate the fill valve to fill the tank. Water pressure only affects how long it takes the tank to fill, not the flushing. We would recommend at least 20psi in order for the fill valve to operate correctly.

I need a toilet that is 19" from floor to top of seat, does this one fit that bill?

Asked by Kat June 29, 2018

Answers

No - it is only 17" from floor

What is the rough in for this model? Is there a different # for a 10" rough in?

Asked by Kitty June 2, 2017
1
Answer

This bowl can be used with the 10 or 12" rough in. It is the tank that determines which rough in you use.

I'm interested in the 221AB.104 model compatible with a 11-3/4 inch rough-in distance, but I will want a gravity-flush system. I see no info on this feature in the AS promos. Is this model gravity-flush?

Asked by Jim Wuertele March 29, 2017
1
Answer

This model has a 2" gravity fed flush valve. This model requires a 12" rough in but you may dry rough it in to see if you will have enough clearance between the tank and the wall.

How is the rough in measured ?

Asked by Butch January 19, 2017
1
Answer

The rough in is measured from the finished wall to the center of the floor flange.

Must replace a 10" RI toilet that has a 2.5" x13" h. Cast iron baseboard heater behind it.  Do you have anything that will work?

Asked by Chuckmeister October 7, 2015

Answer

I am sorry but we do not have anything with those measurements.

I have the: Colony Right Height Elongated 10 Inch Rough- In 1.6 gpf Toilet.  Inside the tank is the number 4392.  I need to purchase the elongated all Plastic Toilet seat.  What is the part number?  What is the replacement p/n?

Asked by jo1234 September 20, 2015
1
Answer

The 4392 does not require a special seat. You can purchase any elongated seat you would like.

I have 3bathrooms with the 6.0 lpf, 1.6gpf commodes in them. How can I adjust the amount of water in the BOWL, not the tank. There is a lot water in the BOWL and when you flush even more water runs thru. Seems to waste à lot of water. Thanks

Asked by player August 4, 2015
1
Answer

You can adjust the water level in the tank by adjusting the fill valve. This will stem to the bowl then.

Is it possible to raise the water level in the toilet?

Asked by lrand August 2, 2015
1
Answer

You will need to adjust your fill valve. There will either be a screw on the top of it or a clip on the side that you will adjust.

The product does not come with a toilet seat you must buy it separately as stated in the ad but what is not stated is you also will need to get Wax Seal gasket, closet bolts, bolt caps. Unlike competing products that have everything in it . All you get is two undamaged boxes with a base and a tank, with broken parts inside such as a broken flush valve and missing Hardware to bolt the toilets together, and then when you call the Home Depot store that you picked it up from they put you on hold and can't seem to help you and then they tell you that you should just call the 1-800 number and talk to someone else, very displeased

Thank you for your review as it is very important to us. We are very sorry for the issue you are experiencing and the inconvenience this has caused you. As a general rule the Wax ring, bolts and seat are not included with a toilet. It is just the kits that may have these included. Retrofit for older home that had only an 11.5" back-spacing from flange-center to wall. A "standard" 12" rough-in toilet would not fit without being in a bind, but this 10" rough-in version worked great.
