Q:We have (6) 604721 valves installed and have not had a problem until now. Currently one of these valves needs 3-4 flushes to properly clear the bowl. We have tried adjusting the set screw on the supply stop, but this has not corrected the problem.

Q:Does American Standard offer a tool to remove the standard adjustable tailpiece (M962920-0020A) on the 6047.121.002 flush valve for replacement by a longer tailpiece (M962834-0020A)? Please advise. Thank you.

Q:We have 8 of these valves installed and the client is complaining that it takes two flushes to clean the bowl. Is there a recommended time to hold the flush valve open on each flush?

Q:Can we perform a pressure test to 150psig on the water supply after installing the flushvalve with the angle valve closed to prevent damage to the diaphragm of the flush valve which only resists 125 PSIG?

I can"t stop flushing. Yet, I can not find any mention of this syndrome in the literature. How am I to locate appropriate intervention? Hmmm " I can't stop flushing you."

Solid reliable quality
I am a master plumber with 25 years in the business. I am remodeling my home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and adding a new master bedroom and bath. All my plumbing fixtures are American Standard. My experience with their products over the years has always been good. They set the standard for quality and reliability in an ever more competitive market. My home is on a spring, so water conservation is key. Normally a commercial toilet would seem odd in a home but with this design and application I am saving huge quantities of water and when the well goes in in the Spring, I know I can continue to rely on my toilet and flush valve to save me water and help keep the aquifer healthy.
