This deep soak drain was recommended with the evolution deep soak tub. I accidentally purchased the chrome instead of the polished nickel but the piece looked nice either way . The issue that we had was that the toe tap drain stopper wouldn’t stay closed once assembled. So that was disappointing because it looked very nice . In our case we replaced it with a push/ pull stopper which actually feels more sturdy and the water even drains faster . The stopper problem is why I gave it 3 stars otherwise it would have been perfect . The American standard cover is a nice change to the traditional front drain .

I wasn't told about this part being needed to provide a overflow for my newly purchased American Standard Tub. It delayed my install for 3 days awaiting the part to arrive. Once installed, it worked & looked great. Just wish I was advised I needed it by your sales guy.

Easy to install, didnt need a plumber
The instructions were easy to understand. Install went off without a hitch. Love the toe tap drain. My soaking tub is awesome. Definitely worth the work. Saved a bunch doing the work myself.

This produce was conveniently offered when purchasing a whirlpool tub.
I wanted to remodel my bath after my husband left me. I found EVERYTHING including the paint at Home Depot. I shopped around for each product and found the prices and quality were all best at Home Depot. Thanks!!!

Do Not Purchase This Product or the EverClean tub!
After many years of wishing for a deep soak bathtub I purchased this pop-up drain as it is required for American Standard EverClean 60 in. x 32 in. tub. I now have a brand new tub (purchased and installed summer 2022) that is completely nonfunctional because the drain does not actually prevent water from draining. It slows the pace of the water draining but it does NOT stop water from going down the drain. I am completely heartbroken and frustrated. Additionally, this drain is the only drain that can be installed with the EverClean deep soak bathtub by American Standard. So you’re probably only looking at this drain because you’re also considering the EverClean tub. Stop right now! Seriously, save yourself the heartache and delete this from your save for later cart and purchase any other tub that doesn’t require this drain. It is important to note that the tub and drain were both installed by an experienced plumber with over 30 years of professional industry experience. This was not installed incorrectly, the drain just sucks and there’s no reasonable fix. Even if this issue could be covered by the warranty, the warranty only covers the drain, it does not cover the labor to cut into the wall for drain access and then the costs to restore the wall.. Save yourself the heartache and purchase any other tub that doesn’t require this drain. Additional info: as an avid review reader before making almost any purchase, I believe this insight is too important to not share.
