Q:I have an American Standard Model 2073 FloWise Normal Height toilet. I just replaced the flush valve with a Fluidmaster 400H. How do I attach the 072989-0070A Refill Tube Clip to the overflow pipe, which is cone shaped?

    A:  When looking at the clip the straight end will go into the overflow tube and the curved end will clip onto the side of it.

      It's a lot smaller than it looks. It wasn't big enough for my fill tube and I have a toilet made by American Standard! Not very standard, or American if you ask me. Maybe Chinese Standard.

      Just what I needed
      The plumber who replaced the flapper unit in my Champion toliet threw this clip out not realizing that the refill tube needed to be clipped to the side of the pipe instead of putting it directly into the pipe. When it was in the pipe, it was creating a siphon which caused the toliet to ghost flush every 10 minutes.
