We have an old AS widespread bathroom faucet that had the double outlet pipe that attaches to the faucet assembly beneath the sink. How do we remove the faucets? Are they a screw on? I do not have a model number as it was installed before we bought...

I need a replacement screw and insert for a shower handle.  Not sure what the model is.  Inside it has a barely readable number (916566). Which replacement screw and insert should I order?

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to the American Standard Consumer Connection Team. The number you provided is not a valid American Standard faucet, We will need to know the exact model number as parts are not interchangeable. Pease feel free to contact us at 1-855-815-0004 Monday – Friday, 8AM – 7PM EST or Saturday 10AM – 4PM and an American Standard Consumer Connection Advisor will be happy to assist you.

Is this part the same as 030126-0070A?

Asked by Nails In Maine August 11, 2020

Answer

Nails, Thanks for the question. The two items mentioned are not the same. They will both include the same set screw, but each part number has different items. The 030126 is a button and screw kit, while the 030746 is a set screw and handle insert. Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team.

7430.801.002 I have four of these faucets that are missing the set screw. Please tell me what I need to do for replacements.  Thank you

Asked by AnnieMac November 8, 2019

Answer

AnnieMac, It would be very unusual for all four faucets to be missing the set screw. Sometimes it is so far down into the hole that you are not able to see it. If your handles are staying on the screw is in place. If they are not there please contact us directly through the American Standard website “Contact Us” located at the bottom of our home page and we will be able to help you. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team

I have a Ceramix faucet (2000.101) and lost the button on the handle. Does this part (030746-0070A) fit my Ceramix faucet handle and does it include the button? Thanks.

What size allen wrench for the Chatfield Widespread handles?

It would use a 2mm hex wrench

I lost the little screw that was inside the handle. The handle is an American Standard, and it has this written inside: A916640.
