lglg, Good Morning! The left button should be liquid and the right one should be for waste. You will possibly need new buttons. . Please contact us directly through the American Standard website “Contact Us” located at the bottom of our home page and we will be able to assist you with this. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
They should. Both are listed on the American Standards website as color: 020 White
MJm, Thanks for the question on the seat that is included with this toilet. Hope you are doing well. Since this toilet has an unexposed trapway a normal seat will not work. You would need to use a seat that has a mounting kit for "top mount", this will allow the seat to be tightened up from the top of the bowl, but as far as size goes any round front, top mount seat will work. Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team.
jay, That height from that finished floor to the top of the bowl rim is 16.5". Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
From the installation guide, which you can download from the Home Depot product page: Water supply on the wall is required at 2-1/4" or 8" from centerline of the toilet (see rough-in). First suggested position is hidden behind the toilet. The geometry of the toilet gives space for this installation. The second suggested position is next to the toilet. Between these two positions, the space for the supply between wall and toilet is limited to 4-1/2". In this case, check your supply and hose dimensions.
I have a floor supply and it is fine. It will depend on the separation of the supply line and the soil pipe. Mine is 3.5 inches from the wall and clears the toilet by about a half inch.
The listing for this toilet on the HD site has PDF attachments for specs and installation guidelines. They both have a schematic that shows this toilet requires a 12” rough in.
Lightning, Yes different seat can be installed on the American Standard Studio Dual flush toilet, the only thing to remember is that the seat would need to be Round Front, and have a mounting kit that is Top Mount. Sincerely Your American Standard Consumer Connections Team.
Paul, We generally recommend moving down to the next rough in but since it is so close to 12" it should work fine. I would recommend dry roughing it is just to be on the safe side. Sincerely, your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
