Q:Replaced the silicon seal on both flappers, and just replaced the tank to bowl gaskets (7381426-100.0070A). Water level in tank still drops over time and water still leaks into the bowl. What other solution is there?

A:  Hello Marin999, I would first check to make sure that the flappers are adjusted properly. If they are and the replacing the flapper seals didn't correct the issue then the next part I would suggest to replace would be the flush valve assembly. That is part number 7381655-200.0070A.       Q:I purchased two of these Vormax toilets and they do not put enough water in the bowl after the flush, water level is too low. At times you can smell the sewer gases. You have to do a flush and then a half flush to fill the bowl. Tank water level is fine

If you are smelling sewer gasses please check the following: If your p-trap leaks, it will not be able to hold enough water to make a proper seal. In this case, check for any leaks by looking for a pool of water behind your toilet. One of the crucial parts of a plumbing system in the modern era is the inclusion of a vent pipe. This pipe acts as the system’s air intake to feed air into the pipes. If the toilet’s vent pipe is blocked, it will force some of the sewer fumes to backtrack into your toilet, hence the foul sewer smell. The drainpipe attaches to the toilet through two different seals. If either one or both are loose or damaged, then the sewer smell will waft through your toilet easily.           Disappointed - running water & not white
          Not happy with these. I put 2 of theses in during a recent remodel. They run constantly and require you to remove the over complicated cover to fix regularly. The white is also off white, not true bright white. I like the cleaning feature but very annoyed with the running and color. A new toilet should not be such a bother.

            Nice slim toilet.
            Looks great! Easy install & fits great in my smaller bathroom. I did end up using a “better than wax ring” due to the height of my existing flange as it wasn’t as tall as the included wax ring. Also needed to purchase a longer supply hose as this toilet tank is slimmer & higher than my previous dinosaur.

            Looks great, some quality issues
            This toilet looks great! But my toilet is less than 5 years old, and the flush valve assembly is already bad. That's never happened on any of the near dozen toilets I've owned over the last 15 years (lots of bathrooms over 2 houses). The plastic molding is somehow leaking water. Come on, that should never happen. There are no moving parts and it's easy, old technology... For you naysayers, yes, I've replaced both silicon flapper seals twice now.

              Doesn't Work in my Basement
              Just installed the toilet and it won't even flush a wad of toilet paper. Not impressed at all. Tried all the tricks for priming etc. and it still doesn't work.

                Dual Flush
                So our Vormax is 2 years old, starts leaking and running, find out it a "ghost" flush/leak; the dual flusher is bad and needs to be replaced. I called American Standard C.S. and they were WONDERFUL. Sent me the whole dual flusher kit, smart hubby fixed, no more running/leaky toilet. Yay!!!! So don't not get the toilet because of this minor fixable issue. The toilet is the bomb. Happy flushing

                  works good but could be better
                  I really like this toilet, only complaint is their is always left overs left in the bowl. It gets rid of almost everything but still leaves stuff behind. I wish the flappers would stay open a little bit longer and I think it would completely empty the bowl.

                  New Toilet
                  I actually have the elongated model with seat. There was no option for this model to register. It does have a flaw in the tank top at the back. Not happy with that. Should not have passed an inspection. Other than that things seem to be ok for now. Just installed this week. This web site is not very user friendly.

                  Great Oval Seat & Chair Height Toilet

                  Bought this last year mechanism has never worked from day 1 Contacted company they sent out new parts right away , worked for 6 months and has broke again won’t flush without holding the red flapper manually to fully flush .

                  If you are holding the flapper open, air may be getting into the system preventing the Vormax flushing system to function Properly. Have you primed the toilet prior to putting it into service? If you are unsure, please contact Flush the toilet 5 consecutive times, allowing the tank to fully fill after each flush.
