Workaround
These are very nice, but I could not get them on my gutters. I took the grate off and covered my gutter end by pushing the side clips inside the gutter. It is working very well so far.

Water Release & small creature blockage.
Gutter closing at bottom to avoid any small creatures to get stuck in the gutter & at the same time, it still allows for the water to escape from the roof.

Works great so far!
These are perfect for blocking animal access up into the gutters. I bought them to go around my whole house and they look great. But the downspout by the garage was the most noticeable and unsightly, and now with this cover on it, looks more polished and finished looking. Form and function.. the only thing i wish is that they came in black or dark brown for darker gutters.

We had a problem with roof rats coming down our down spouts and building nests in our cars ( engine) since we added these great downspout covers we no longer see the rats or hear them in our gutters! Highly recommend them!
