About This Product
The Amerimax Flex-a-Spout Downspout Extension features a rigid, corrugated design for versatility as well as a durable vinyl construction that can be buried, bent or connected to additional sections to easily fit your needs. This downspout extension can be used to redirect runoff to prevent rain water damage or connected to a drainage pipe or catch basin to control and divert drainage. The extension fits 2 in. x 3 in. and 3 in. x 4 in. downspouts as well as 3 in. and 4 in. round downspouts. Additionally, the downspout's flexible plastic and bendy design extends 25 in. up to 55 in. while still holding its shape.

How do you spread it to make it longer?
This product expands similar to an accordian. You will need to pull each end away from itself in order to expand it.
Can you cut this to make it shorter, like 12" or 15" and attach the rectangular piece back on?
You can attach the rectangular end to the downspout and cut to size. However, once the product has been cut, it cannot be pieced back together.
Can they be coupled

No, this will only work with a 2"x3" or a 3"x4" downspout. We currently do not offer a Flex-A-Spout designed for a 6" downspout.
