Not for digging out frozen anything.. It's not flimsy, its just not made for this chore. Use a metal shovel. It is a handy tool for cleaning out gutters and most any slender places that is tough to get your hands and or dust pan into.
Is the handle "threaded" so we can attach an extension, similar to the #8340 kit?
Jaycee, The scoop is not threaded like the Gutter Grabber. If you order the kit you can use the Gutter Grabber to pull the debris to you then scoop it out of the gutter. Thank you for your interest in our products!
