A:  Not for digging out frozen anything.. It's not flimsy, its just not made for this chore. Use a metal shovel. It is a handy tool for cleaning out gutters and most any slender places that is tough to get your hands and or dust pan into.

      A:  Jaycee, The scoop is not threaded like the Gutter Grabber. If you order the kit you can use the Gutter Grabber to pull the debris to you then scoop it out of the gutter. Thank you for your interest in our products!

              Flimsy product. Not made for long term use. Handle needs to be better supported to handle the weight of dirt and debris from gutter. You get what you pay for....that's why I bought extras, knowing they would break easily.
