Amerimax's Metal Lock-In Gutter Guards can be used on 4 in., 5 in. and 6 in. "K" style gutters. The pre-notched design allows for overlapping which eliminates gaps between the guards. The gutter guards are easy to install - just slide the flat side under the shingle and lock the curved portion into the front edge of the gutter. This product is designed to handle high volume rainwater flow via its wire screen and hold up to the heat and cold better than vinyl gutter guards.

Yes, these are suitable for use in Florida.
We recommend creating a cap as mentioned in step 3 of our installation guide which can be found here: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/15/15b17a1e-cb4f-4fd7-b4e2-73a9b4be1360.pdf
While possible, it would be more difficult due to the cedar shake not allowing the gutter guard to slide easily between it and the roof deck. A Titan gutter guard might be better suited for this application.
No, these guards are designed to be used with K-Style gutters.
These do not require cutting to fit a 4" gutter. Installation instructions can be found here: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/17/173fe096-eebb-4e91-80bd-f5e587fc2a04.pdf
If it doesn't fit under the roof, you will have to bend it. I have a tile roof that you can't get under, so I used a long wood board as a bending form, then finished the rest with my hands. No need to cut. Takes about 30 seconds once you have it down.
These are designed to be installed under a shingle. If you have 6" gutters you might be able to install the guard inside the gutter similar to figure D under step 3 in our installation guide: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/15/15b17a1e-cb4f-4fd7-b4e2-73a9b4be1360.pdf

You have to bend it to make it fit 4" gutters if you can't get under the roof shingle or tile. I used a long piece of wood as a form, then bent it. Takes about 30 seconds once you have it down.
