A: It's an excellent, heavy duty catch. I replaced a plastic one that had fallen apart due to sun exposure. NO problem with the all metal construction.

I needed a strong magnetic catch to hold several cabinet...

I needed a strong magnetic catch to hold several cabinet doors that had warpedflush against the face frame. These catches are rated at 16 pounds (the strongest that I could find) and worked perfectly. Easy to install and economical. HD had to order them but shipping to the store was fast and free
