A:  The dimensions of the BP9765PT magnetic catch are 1-15/16 inch (L) x 3/4 inch (W) x 1/2 inch (Projection). Strike Dimension: 1-1/8 (L) x 7/8 (W) x 3/4 (H). Pull Force: 5-11 pounds Thank you!

    A:  I do not know if these have a weight rating. They are to keep kitchen cabinets closed. From opening them I would feel about 1lb or less of force to opens cabinet.

        A:  If the catch is a replacement for an existing, but failing catch?.... The holes are exactly in line, best I can say. The hole separation is standard, regardless of finite measurement. I simply took the old catches off and hole alignment is exact.

            A:  For the brown part, the holes are approx. 1 3/8 inches apart. For the metal part, the holes approximately 11/16 inches apart. Attached are pictures.

                This catch is strong. The click it makes when the doors close is a daily satisfaction. It came with two versions of the metal strike plate, flat and angled. I was glad to have both for a lower cabinet. The two doors were situated a bit differently so I used one version on the right and the other version worked on the left. It's too low and dark to notice the difference.
