Not sure what you mean by pebbly sheets. If the sheets have good adhesion, then you can with a coat of Ames Blue Max first as a primer. However, if those sheets start to peel up, it will take our product with it.

For EPDM you would need to apply Ames Blue Max first. Blue Max is a waterproof coating but is also an excellent primer on EPDM.

Far exceeded my expectations! There will be no slipping on our deck or ramp this coming winter...or many more to come. Seems very durable and difficult to get off you hands when it's dry, so it should stay where it is put. It's like sticking your roller in a bucket of pudding, but dries with an outstanding non-slip surface. See attached pics.

Not for the South!
I had real high hopes with all the positive reviews. I professionally prepped my deck (pressure washed), applied primer coat, and 2 coats of top safe t seal. This stuff is not forgiving...it gets dirty so easily and stays that way unless you hose off the dirt. You can see all imperfections in the wood applied to and barely fills medium cracks as stated. The deck took 2 weeks to stop feeling sticky/tacky. Now, the paint has bubbles in it. This stuff will not last. Much worse, the heat from this paint radiates. I have a temp gun and the delta in temp from grass to wood is 68’ on hot sunny day. Yes a 68 increase when the sun hits this wood! You can feel the heat and it makes sitting on the deck miserable. If your thinking of repair or replacement. I vote replace. Now I wish I wouldve spent the money on replacing my deck in entirety..Avoid this product if you live in warm climates. Very dissatisfied with the product and it hasnt even been a month.

This stuff is awesome. I am a novice at painting & with youtube help, it worked really well. More sky blue than grey, it still looked good and thickly covered issues to be forgiving to a novice. We had immediate rain & flood conditions for several days within 24 hours of completing the work and it still looked good (see photo) & wasn’t slick to walk on once the rain stopped. Highly recommend.

WOW!! I ordered this safe-t-deck because the first product I was interested in was not available. I have to say so far I am very impressed. It is very thick, but easy to apply. It went on easily and the before and after is excellent. I don't know how this will hold up, but I have enough left over to apply multiple coats. I have a 200 sq ft deck and didn't even use a third of the bucket. The non skid seems to be very good and not uncomfortable to walk on. Very happy with the end results.

Just put down 2 coats on 1 and 2 September 2019. Thick like pudding. Looks great. I'll need at least 2 years, and maybe 5 years, to see how it holds up. This porch deck has been difficult to maintain because it catches so much South Carolina sun and humidity. I earlier applied 2 coats of Ames Elasto-Barrier primer in preparation, and before that replaced a number of tongue-in-groove deck boards.

I called the company and all they said was oh well you have to go and have some black put in it. They don't stand behind there product. Well i will NOT use it again. the original color is the top of the baseboard. you can see the stark difference...

Super thick, (appropriately), goes on smoothly but the sand that ensures the good safe grip appears as it drys. Water-proofing with 2 coats has been outstanding. Coverage is 100% better than all previous coats of paint.

I'm very pleased with the results. This paint delivered the slip-resistant texture and color blending I was hoping for. We have deck stairs that although not slippery, we wanted better traction when carrying heavy or awkward items both up and down these stairs. The weather here finally cooperated and I applied the product two weeks ago. Although the paint is white, color can be added. I had leftover cedar tone solid deck stain that I've been using only on the deck stairs so I mixed that solid stain with the safe-t deck paint. Although the safe-t deck paint is thicker than stain or regular paint, it poured easily (like liquid rubber) and mixed well with my deck solid stain (see pics 1, 2 and 3). In the past few days, we've had rain and that gave me a chance to test the results. My ratio of safe-t deck paint to deck stain was about 1-to-6, if I had to guess. This mixture gave the steps a subtle rubber grip and non-slip surface which was exactly the result I was looking for. I like that it's not overly grippy and I also have the option of increasing the slip-resistant grip finish next year if I choose.
