No dreading fall clean up with this set
This set will make fall clean up, be it fallen leaves, or shrub clippings a piece of cake. The bag collapses to about 4" thick but when open it easily accommodates the large garden debris bags. It holds the bag open and erect so dropping leaves and other yard debris that you've picked up with the claws, is easy and mess free.
The claws are big but very light weight. The grip handle makes it easy for you to maneuver the claws. They fold together (see photo) taking up very little space.
I highly recommend this yard tool set.

Makes leaf clean up faster
These garden claws arrived just in time to start cleaning the leaves from the flowerbeds. In the past, I have used a large dustpan and small rake to collect the leaves from the beds, but these plastic claws really get a good bite of leaves and make clean up so much faster. The reusable pop-up bag is a nice bonus and holds a good amount of leaves. It is sturdy, and I love that it collapses and can be hung on the wall with the garden claws. I would definitely buy again.

practical and convenient
The garden claws are of a good size to pick up a nice amount of leaves. They have an ergonomic and comfortable handles that reduce fatigue. The hard plastic feels durable and long lasting.
The pop bag is definitely convenient for all types of yard work. Its plastic is sturdy and durable. The bag stands up by itself and stay open. Storage is easy, the bag collapses and the grabbers fit right inside. Both items are valuable garden tools for many different tasks.
Overall, this pair feels durable, well made and well designed. It will be practical for a number of yard and clean up tasks.

Doubles as seal flippers for Halloween
Well my wife made fun of me for looking like a seal but I think I’ll get the last laugh when fall rolls around and I’m scooping up leaves like a champion with rake hand flippers. I really like the way these nest into each other for easy storage and have a nice nail hook to easily hang on the garage wall. These feel pretty good on the hands and are very sturdy. My kit came with 2 rake hands and a pop up bag that compresses down for storage. Haven’t got to try them out yet because it’s still winter but I’m looking forward to it.

Ames Leaf Claw and Waste Bag
Love these claws that you can really pick a large amount of leaves or lawn debris. The expanding bag holder will assist you in collection of debris and make it easier to bag whatever it is you are collecting. You can remove your bag you have placed in the collapsible bag that makes it so easy to fill. The claws fit our hands very nicely and the placement gives you more power to lift debris. Recommend this unit.

Really like this set!
I just received my Ames Leaf Collecting Tool Set with Garden Claws and Collapsible Garden Waste Bag, and I can tell you that this set will be a lifesaver for me in my yard this coming fall! The garden claws have been designed in such a way that my hands and wrist is comfortable using them, and the pop-up basket will be great as I don't have any one to hold a bag open for me while I work. The pop-up basket also has two toggle buttons so when you are done using the basket, you can collapse it back down for easy storage.

Leaf Collecting Tool Set
Ames leaf collecting tool set with garden claws and collapsible garden waste bag to use picking up leaves, mulch and any other debris. I have so many trees, not only in my yard but from neighboring yards that getting rid of leaves seems to be an endless chore. Leaves aren’t easily swept up or blown out after they are wet. I can load a huge bunch at one time, put in the bag, repeat, and clean up so much faster with this combo. It took no time to fill, and the light weight is better for my back. No more thorns sticking me. The claws can also be used to spread mulch. The bag can also be used for compost.

Easy clean-up
The Ames Leaf Collecting Set arrived in a thin box. I wasn't sure what had arrived, as the bag collapses very flat and the claws nest together to form a small, easy to store profile. There is a loop and button on either side of the bag you release to open it and button to keep it collapsed. After you use the item, you will find that button on the inside bottom of the bag, not near the top. The garden claws are solid but lightweight. They fit my grip perfectly. I used the set to do some spring clean-up. The claws were helpful, but I see them being a huge asset with the fall leaves. They are not really meant to pick up the small bits I had to remove. The bag is super, however, at any time. It is made of a fairly strong plastic, but I see the need to be careful with sticks. It holds its shape well and is super easy to move around to the different pick up points. I am very happy to have this set and I know I will be even happier in the fall. Thumbs up!

Simple and Effective
The Ames leaf collecting set consists of two handheld scoops and a freestanding pop-up bag. This set is useful for collecting leaves and carrying them to the street for pickups provided by the town. My set arrived a few days before a scheduled pickup. It proved to be helpful and effective. The scoops worked well for picking up heavy wet semi-composted leaves that resist movement by a leaf blower. The bag has two handles at the top for carrying and a handle at the bottom for dumping contents. Two latching loops keep the bag flattened for compact storage when not in use. Scoops and bag appear to be polypropylene, no recycling code. My usage is insufficient to assess durability of the bag; so far, so good. The scoops could also be used with a trash can after the bag wears out. The 45 gallon bag is ample for a small city lot, but no substitute for a wheelbarrow on larger areas. Manufacturer’s warranty is 30 days; Home Depot’s return limit is 90 days. Made in China.
