Yes, you can use this kit to create a smaller circle. The kit is designed to create a 9 ft. 9 in. diameter circle, but you can choose to use fewer pavers and create a smaller circle, such as the 6’ circle you need. You can use the remaining pavers for other projects, like creating a pathway or a smaller pad for a grill. Several other customers have done similar modifications with their kits.
This kit includes 442 weather-resistant pavers in a blend of red, black, and tan, and easy-to-follow installation instructions. It creates a 9 ft. 9 in. diameter circle.
Yes, there are other kits available in different sizes and colors. For example, there is a 6.9' diameter kit available in two different colors. I would recommend checking with your local Home Depot or searching online to see all available options.
Unfortunately, no. The area of a 9 ft circle is 63.6 square feet, while the area of an 18 ft circle is 254.4 square feet, so two kits would not be enough to cover an 18ft diameter area.
They also wouldn't be the right shapes. If you don't mind a color change (and tiny pie shaped spaces between the bricks) it could be expanded with rows of other bricks. Color the sand between bricks to match the bricks to make the spaces less noticeable.
continued Also, if you used 'Pavestone -Plaza Earth Blend Concrete Pavers' for the extra 190.8 sq.ft. needed, you would save $2,170 in the cost of the bricks
Usually a 1" bed of sand is placed over a thick layer of pea gravel to help drainage. You can add a layer of porous weed block under the sand to minimize weeds. More sand is added after the pavers are laid to fill in the gaps.

I would check with your local Home Depot to answer that question. I think that when I was looking to build the patio, they had an 11 x 11' size patio but not a smaller one. You could buy the 9 x 9' and then only make it as large as you want. You could then make a smaller pad for a grill with the extra stones. As a matter of fact, I had extra stones left over of various sizes and that is what I did. You can design it to your taste by trying different designs. I was able to come up with 3 different designs and settled on one and my weber grill fits nicely on it. I will also mention, that the preparation of the site that you use must be done right and it took me close to a week to get it just right. That was a couple of years ago and I was 75 years old then. Good luck with your project. Sincerely, Charlie
I couldn't find a smaller size when I did this project for as low a price as HD listed. What is nice about the kit is that you can choose to do less courses/rings of brick and make it smaller. I then used the remaining bricks for other projects around my house.
HD also currently carries a 6.9' diameter in two different colors
192" or 16' in diameter is about 200 sf, so (3) 116" or 9.5' dim. kits at about 70-72 sf each would do it.
Robert: I don't think that I can help you here. I think that this is a question for HD. When I purchased my kit it was 9' 9" diameter which was perfect for my project. I don't know if HD offers a larger kit diameter. Charlie Mokeler
