200 Series Partial View ½ Light Storm Door

Fantastic product! I had a remodeling business 40 years ago and installed many storm doors and don’t recall any experience that was as simple as this one was. Instructions were complete as were the parts packages. Was a pleasure to install and looks fantastic! Couldn’t be happier!

Purchased this door in 2019. Liked the way it looked and functioned at first, but by 2022 it developed corrosion and swelling along the lower part of the door which looks terrible and makes it difficult to open and close the door due to the damaged area hitting the door frame. The door was installed by Home Depot and was not mistreated or subjected to any unusual weather conditions. Should have paid more attention to the reviews; Anderson has been aware of this issue for some time.

The door has 4 seams on the inside. Should have been none.

Just what I was looking for inexpensive but not flimsy storm door. Easy for a handy person to assemble. Only bad I find is it is vinyl clad and the seam is in plain sight inside.

The storm door is made well and heavy but the window on a second attempt fell off the track so now I am hesitant to open it . The installation instructions good but should cut done non the wording it's not that complicated .take some and watch the installation video online very useful .

After 2 years the door is rotted out. It is designed incorrectly and feeds water right into the cardboard center. The bottom of the window is a catch for rain water and feed right into the door

I hope this lasts. They don’t make doors like they used to, but the handle broke on the decades old door and could not be replaced. Had to have this one installed. Crossing my fingers. The last one was heavy duty vinyl and if not for the handle breaking, would have lasted many more years. We used a different handle than what came with the door.

I had this door installed 2 years ago by a professional. He works with Home Depot all the time. The door was properly installed and lasted a full year... and then the door warped, no longer closes securely, and the metal has separated in multiple places. I thought I might be a little crazy. I always feel that the problem is with me and not with the product, so I thought I would check out the reviews and see if I found anything that mirrors my issues. Low and behold if the pictures and problems people have posted here are not identical to the problems that I am having and that I sent to anderson to secure the warranty replacement. I had always heard anderson was a very reputable company and true to their product. It is November, I have a two year old door that I spent money on. The problems with the door are not unusual, rather they have occurred MANY times with SO MANY Anderson customers. My door is bulging at the top, the metal has separated and the door is bowing out at the inside center. The door no longer closes properly. The door lets in bugs and bad weather. The bowing is perfectly smooth. There are no creases caused by a bruising wind or an incident. The separation of the metal at the top of the door is identical to many of the pictures shown in different reviews. There has been a slow distorting of the metal of the door. I have attached photos. The doors displayed throughout this lengthy list of complaints could all be the same door. This door warps, separates and no longer functions properly after 2 short years. I would not recommend the door to anyone. Hopefully, Anderson will remedy this or I wouldn't recommend them in future either. I expect Anderson will be the kind of company that honors its warranties. I expect a replacement door for a problem that is this common.
