Great looking door. Easy install
After doing some research on black storm doors, I stumbled across this one. I made an in-store purchase and installed it by myself the next day. I also purchased the matte black hardware for the door as well. This was a great purchase. I love the look of the door and installation was easy. I was able to install it myself without any issues. Highly recommended!

Very nice storm door
I had to replace mine because my last one shattered from a rock in a mowing accident but I am glad I selected this one. Looks very nice and very easy to install. You’ll need a drill, 1/8 drill bit and a screw driver. It comes with the drill bit you’ll need but mine broke because it is VERY cheaply made. So I suggest getting your own. Also, the instructions aren’t the best. I suggest watching a YouTube video as I did. Just type in the door name and installation.

Cheaply made. Plastic retainer strips broken.
At first I loved my new door. It was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the look of the upgraded door knob, I bought the modern brushed French gold. But the finish only lasted a year. However, the real problem is that the plastic retainer strips that hold the screen or window in are extremely cheap. We finally changed out the glass to screen this summer and when we went back to put the glass in this fall the plastic retainers broke. No luck getting replacement at HD—I’ve tried twice now.

Plastic strips that keep glass in break easily
I bought 2 of these doors and one I swap the screen and glass each season. The other I've kept glass in the whole time and the plastic strips that keep the glass in broke and now the glass won't stay in the door.

Poor quality glass not covered under warranty
Glass shattered in the middle of the night after 2 months installing it, customer service was horrible and would not honor their warranty. If you have a choice, I would choose another company as this product will definitely fail on you and you will have to buy another one.
