Good storm door with some flaws
I ordered this storm as a replacement of old door from Home Depot. It took around a month to be delivered. I got it installed just to discover metal plate on top of the door (see attached picture) is not aligned resulting in door getting stuck. I had to call a professional who removed the metal plate and cut out a small piece and put it back. Now it is working fine and opening fine.

NEEDS CHAIN
WHY ONE STAR? To get your attention. The storm door is very good. BUT It should come with a chain to keep the door from swinging open it high winds. GET ONE ! Costs about $8.00.
After installation the installer warned me that there can be a vacuum between the storm door and the main door which may keep the storm door from clicking shut. I was not advised nor did I think to get a chain which would keep the storm door from swinging out past 90 degrees and becoming damaged in high wind. Now my jam is cracked and both pneumatic closers are broken. Come on Andersen it a cheap part. Include it. Damage not covered by warranty.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced with the door, but we are glad to learn that the door is very good. We do not recommend installing wind chain on our storm doors. Our experience, which is backed up by tests conducted by our Engineering department, is that a wind chain does not significantly increase the ability of the door to resist wind damage. In fact, our tests indicate that, under certain conditions, the presence of a wind chain may actually increase the likelihood of damage to the door and door jamb. Because of this, we strongly discourage the installation of wind chains on our doors and do not offer one. If you wish, you can certainly install a third-party wind chain on your door. However, if you do this, please be aware of the fact that any damage due to the presence of a wind chain would be excluded from coverage under the terms of the door's Warranty. Also, it would not be possible to install wind chain at the top since it may damage or affect the operation of the retractable screen. We want to assist you with your concern. Broken Hinge
We have absolutely loved this door. It was not difficult to assemble or install. It has been great until the hinge broke. Now it does not close right and is putting stress on the closing mechanism. A $400 dollar for should not have a hinge break in less then a year. Will be trying to work with Anderson to get a replacement.

Broken Hinge 3 Times in Less than 7 months.
I Have replaced this piece twice already. This is the third time it has snapped in less than 7 months of use. I don't have small children or animals that would do this damage. This last time, I opened the door to near fully open to accept a package and snap.

Bracket weak link
Had this door for about a year and then bracket for closer device broke. I am ashamed for the engineer who designed it so weak.

Do not buy this door
Made a custom purchase of this "quality" door two years ago. Installed well within manufacturers tolerances for smooth operation. Less than a year later (maybe six months), hinges were sagging, started having interference between the door and frame at top and on handle side. Has gotten so bad that it barely closes, makes terrible grinding metal on metal noises. Bought Anderson due to reputation - but this experience has ruined this brand for me.

Really Impressed
We were looking to upgrade our old rear storm door. When looking at some of the options in the store we were quickly drawn to the functionality and look of this series of door. However, what really impressed me was the installation.
I’m a bit of a DYI person but am far from a skilled tradesman. This install went so smoothly, even if taking me more than the advertisement 45 min. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Do not buy. Weak closure design
Ordered in store Sep'21 Installed Oct'21 The entire design of the closure is weak. Any wind=won't close Stiff breeze=damage No warranty coverage for poor design Replacement parts were bent by the breeze while I was installing/adjusting them and I wasn't working in a strong wind Had to remove and bend them back into shape with tools
Does not meet my expectations for the high price and name brand

We are deeply sorry for what happened with the closer. Please note that external force is outside the Limited Warranty since this is not a manufacturing defect. The best way to prevent the closer from being bent is to make sure the storm door is latched completely after use. - Charmaine

Poor quality of screen.
Same issue happened on me . The screen trim is very poor quality. The sun make it easy to crack. I installed on 3/1/2022 now is 10/28/2022. The screen trim getting broken
