The slide door is great except the built in blind only work for few days and then cannot open the way up . Contact Andersen but they referred back to dealer. Now I have to stick with not working built-in blind on $3000 slide door.

I really like the Anderson 200 series sliding door. It moves well and the blinds in between the panes of glass are a convenient feature. I am very happy with the final result.
However, I ordered this door online from Home Depot and picked it up in the store. I thought “some assembly required” meant door hardware, screen install and that the door would be pre hung. WRONG! This door arrived completely unassembled in multiple boxes. Make sure you come home with 5 boxes, 1-moving door panel left or right hand, 1 fixed door panel, sliding screen, frame box, and a hardware box for the door. They tried to give me just three boxes when I picked up and I said “where is the frame?” The young man went back and found his supervisor and they came back with the frame box. Unbeknownst to me there was no hardware box. Thank goodness the men I had install the door have more than 25 years’ experience. The day of the install we realized there was no hardware for the door which was included in the description. I called Home Depot customer service and the man was very helpful over the phone. Luckily they had a box in the store on the shelf and I was able to run and pick it up so they could complete the job. This door install is not for an amateur DIY’er!

Great Sliding Door
I researched Pella, Anderson and other brands of sliding doors. I needed a custom size and the 15% special order discount was great. This is a great door and is well made. No complaints here. Having it preassembled and ship to home was a good idea.

It’s ok.
We have a 30 year old Anderson door that is on a house we recently purchased and it is fantastic. Still slides, no drafts, solid etc. We were adding a sliding door in our bedroom in place of a window and decided to go with Anderson bc of the patio door. Sadly, we’ve been disappointed. Definitely not the same quality. The drafts thru the door itself are ridiculous. I can hear the highway just blowing thru. Sad we spent this much money on a door we could’ve spent half the price without the name.

Great doors! Bad assembly instructions
The Doors themselves are great! The installation direction are hard to follow and incomplete. I had a professional high end carpenter install the doors but it took a lot of figuring out how the doors are assembled by both of us. It would be great help if they provided access to a short video on line.of the doors complete assembly.
