A:Â The actual dimensions of the slump block are 1/2 under nominal to account for the mortar joint. So 5 /1/2 x 5 1/2 x 15 1/2. For a 65" wall you need 49 units per course. 7' would be 14 courses, but you will want to confirm with your municipality that you can go 7' high. Most areas will only allow 6'. You'll want to confirm what size and spacing on the rebar with your contractor or the building codes in your city. If you 7" high you'll need about 686 units of block and about 30 bags of 94# Spec Mix mortar. You can get gray mortar or tan, just check with your Home Depot on availability.
