Anti-skid base is not aniti-slip
I've had this for a few months, am using it on berber carpet with a pad as recommended but it still slips around, I have to move it almost daily to keep it from lodging under my desk's legs. One edge is a little scarred from sliding under the plastic bullnose sled-style legs of my large corner desk. If it lasts longer than 3 years that will be 18 months longer than the Gorilla mats lasted me so it's a good deal on that point. So far I love it outside of the slipping part.

Don't buy it
I would never recommend this. After less than one year, it is unusable. It has separated and split. It may be okay on hardwood flooring but not on 3/8" pile carpet as advertised.

I bought the chair mat to go under my yoga mat on the carpet. It works great for my daily stretch...
I bought the chair mat to go under my yoga mat on the carpet. It works great for my daily stretching. Only draw back is that it was advertised as "rollable" when in fact it only really folds in half, so storage isn't ideal between uses.
