I love my new flagpole set! I had wanted a flagpole mounted on the house for years but had memories growing up of always having to unfurl my parents' flag. When I did my research and learned of this spinning flagpole, I knew it was the right solution.
I did read through most of the reviews prior to purchasing and would like to note a few things that may help others. For one, I couldn't initially find the mounting hardware. As it turns out, it was lodged in a small plastic baggie, inserted down the mouth of the bracket. Although it was nice that screws and mollies were provided, they were not long enough for my needs; I used longer hardware to secure the bracket. Also, a few reviewers might have their setups incorrect, because if you follow the simple instructions (located on the back of the box, for people indicating the product came with none) for attaching the flag to the pole, it should definitely spin freely.

The Annin flag kit was easy to assemble. Mounting it became a big problem because I made it that way. It comes with screws that fit as well as the plastic anchors but I was placing it on concrete block so thought I should use Tapcon screws so went to Home Depot to buy them. Bought 1/4" which was too large for the holes on the mounting bracket so since I was already on the ladder had to use the supplied screws which turned out to be appropriate after all. So don't go to more trouble than necessary to set up the flag. It's super the way it is and it doesn't wind around itself in our very brisk Florida winds.

Might as well save some money and buy a non spinning flagpole. My last spinning flagpole at least worked for a year or two. This one, the flag need to be unwrapped from day one. At least the flag is made in the USA.

Annin Products have always been excellent. Just don't buy the cheapest products. You get what you pay for. The swivel poles really do the job well in windy conditions - flags are tangle free.

I highly recommend this product. Everyone in my community displays the American Flag. We are also in a very windy area. Because I purchased the spinning flagpole, my flag is the only one that doesn't get hung up and it is holding up beautifully.

Spinning Flag Kit
Purchased after building a house in the country, lots of wind, and no houses to block it as in a subdivision. Spins appropriately and rarely gets wrapped in the wind. Very satisfied with the product!

Flag pole won’t last a year
I bought this flag and spinning pole almost one year to the day and the pole just broke. Surprisingly the flag in still in really good condition. The pole is weak. I’m not sure if there are better alternatives. Manufacturer doesn’t stand by product.
