I bought this for a roofing repair project, to spread...
I bought this for a roofing repair project, to spread roofing tar between shingles. I bought this one, a little different from previous years, just to try a different tool. I do a yearly patching in preparation for rains. For the do it yourselfer, I often try a lot of different tools and I keep them. With a can of patching material, the goal is not to waste material, I was able to clean it off and keep it for next year or another project.

Perfect! My grandson used it to spread the Henry's roof...
Perfect! My grandson used it to spread the Henry's roof patch. The really thick kind *_* and it held up through the whole sticky mess! Cleaned up nice to live another day! He said it had a great grip and did not wobble while smoothing out the "goop" Hee hee of course I wasn't up there to see - I'm 400 years old ;) My babies take care of my repairs. BTW the crew at Home Depot on Mountain in Upland get a great big thumbs up <3. for being so helpful and kind too.
