Grout Bag

A:  Absolutely. I used it to fill in Grout lines between stones on my fireplace. It worked perfectly.

A:  Any type of ready mix concrete sold at The Home Depot can be used for this type of application.

A:  Mine lasted about 15 uses until the seam blew out and mortar would stay in the bag.

A:  Yes, I use these mortar bags to tuck point masonry on a regular basis. Yes, wash out clean with water, and they will last many uses.

A:  This would work great with mortar not so much with cement remember Cement has aggregate that would clog the tip.

A:  I have used them many times, very strong and if you clean it good you can reuse it.

A:  Yes this is a grout bag, use with mortar mix. The bag is made out of canvas with a leather feel inside, you can rinse it out when done and reuse it. I’ve used mine numerous times. Works great for filling in grout between bricks, cultured stone. Or if you are grinding out old mortar and replacing.

A:  Grout bags are not NSF certified.

A:  Not meant for food, just for grout so I would say that it's NOT food safe.

A:  I bought 4 bags for a project, 3 went bad by end of the day. The welding holding this bag didn’t last for too long. I was grouting mortar.
