I just replaced an old copper pipe with a PEX pipe. It was easy to work thanks to flexibility and no soldering together with SharkBite couplings.

Squirrels kept chewing through the wooden pirch on my bird feeder. I replaced it with a 1/4-20 threaded rod installed through the PEX-B. Squirrels stopped chewing when they reached the steel! Love it!

        Impossible to work with!
Save yourself time, frustration and spent a little more money ( approximately $20 ) and but straight 20' lengths. These rolls are impossible to straighten out and work with. Some pieces I strengthen 2 and 3 times, only to have them still go back into a curve. I tried everything from weighing down the end and rolling it out, to drilling 1" holes in an bare stud wall and sending it through multiple times and straightening it as I went. Once I purchased the straight lengths, the job took a quarter of the time. I'm not a licensed plumber, but have over 40 years in construction. I have attached a photo of the roll after being straighten out??

          Worked out perfect!
I had a leak behind the wall inder the bathroom sink. I had to cut a hole in my wall to see that it was leaking at the 90 degree brass fitting where the pex pipes turned into the bathroom. This Apolloo pex pipe was the perfect solution and also I love that it comes in blue and red so that I don't have to think about which side is hot or cold. It also comes in different lenghts so I actually went back to the store to buy more; a longer length just so I would have it with my plumbing stuff in case I ever need it again. This particular pex pipe is pretty durable; moreso than what the builder used when the house was built. It cut very easily and smoothly with a pex pipe cutter and was very easy to work with as far as attaching a new shut off valve and replacing the fitting. Everything fit perfectly and everything works perfectly. All that is left to do now is repair my wall! Highly Recommend!

The 100’ roll of as a little unwieldy to run in my attic, but the final product was better than having to join lengths of pvc. The press-on connectors are a little pricey, but I only had to use them at each end to mate with the existing copper and that was a breeze.

Old PVC pipe easily broken at glue joints and kept leaking in cracked Texas gumbo soil when dry summer. Decided to go PEX 300ft rolls in 1in size. Took 1 day for contractor made new trench and installed go like a breeze. Take time to enroll with 2 men to avoid kinking. Job went smooth and fast without issue and shark-bite fitting were great. No leak on first time water turned on. Neighbors on their large lot (20 acres) used PEX for over 20 years and so hope mine last a long time as well. Would use this economical PEX again.

Performs as it should. However, it is a monster trying to fish it through an existing house for copper pipe replacement. But it was expected.
