      Answer This Question

A:  This is to be used with PEX-A expansion PEX only. When comparing PEX-A to PEX-B you are going to have less water restriction with the PEX-A pipe and fittings.

Expands way more than what the pex pipe can bear
The worst expansion tool I've ever used. I got so many leaks that I had to end up using push in fittings. I had a really bad experience with it and my customers too. It is a piece of junk. Make an effort and buy the battery operated one.

            Great for small projects.
This tool was versatile and easy to operate. Great for small weekend jobs or for the DIY'er.

I opened it, tried it and found it to be defective. The 3/4 " and the 1/2" die could not screw on to tool because someone missed removing one metal tab inside head. Nor HD's fault.

              Apollo and potential customers
Very nice tool, a good alternative to the actual battery powered tool but be-warned you will certainly need some arm power to operate , its an expansion tool so some effort is required but is to be expected because of the nature of the task, I would recommend and it will definitely get the job done.

Piped in 1” Pex about 40 connections with this tool works great for small projects, anything larger than small project buy the power tool. I’m a 190lbs 32 year old male in great shape and I was struggling towards the end. It is a workout to use this tool.
